Sarah’s current research interests include modern adaptations of Greek tragedy, queer theory, and feminist theory.
Sarah Thompson grew up in rural Pennsylvania. She graduated from Oberlin College in 2008 with a B.A. in Classical Civilization and English with Creative Writing Concentration, and received High Honors in English.
Thompson spent the last three years in the East Bay Area, working with children on the autism spectrum. Current research interests include modern adaptations of Greek tragedy, queer theory, and feminist theory. Current Activities Thompson is a first year Ph.D. student in Performance Studies at UC Davis. This April she presented a paper at the Comparative Drama Conference in Baltimore.
