Diana Aramburu, Assistant Professor of Spanish, will give a presentation titled: Exploring the Body in Process in Isabel Franc and Susanna Martin’s Graphic Breast Cancer Narrative”. She will discuss how the graphic novel presented the story of a breast cancer patient.

Maureen Burdock, creator of Feminist Fables for the Twenty-first Century(McFarland, 2015) and Cultural Studies PhD Candidate, will discuss her graphic dissertation she is working on.
