The Graduate Student of Color (GSoC) Mentor Program is a two-quarter program that aims to assist in the support of UC Davis graduate students from historically marginalized communities. Graduate students are paired with faculty mentors who can assist them in successfully navigating graduate school at UC Davis, focusing on issues specific to graduate students of color. In addition to the mentorship component, the program also hosts networking and skills-building events to support participants throughout the year.
Providing a network of support in navigating all aspects and stages of graduate school, the GSoC Mentor Program seeks to advance learning opportunities, professional development and other skills foundational to the well-being and success of graduate students of color.
