Humanizando la Deportación/Humanizing Deportation
A digital storytelling archive featuring over 40 videos produced by people wishing to recount their personal stories regarding deportation (see http://humanizandoladeportacion.ucdavis.edu/en/). Hosted by Robert McKee Irwin, and featuring guest speakers Tina Shull of CIVIC (Community Initiatives for Visiting Immigrants in Confinement) and Darinka Carballo of Fundación Gaia – Acciones que nos guían al cambio, Tijuana, the event will feature the screening of several digital stories. Research sponsored by UC-MEXUS/CONACYT. Event cosponsors include AB540 and Undocumented Student Center, Human Rights Studies
