Considering the recent phenomenon of#metoo, the publicity of sexual violence, the misogyny of our federal government, and the everyday experience of living in a gendered world, Jesse Ortiz wanted to offer this opportunity for people to explore their experiences with masculinities.
The main point of this workshop will be to interrogate our motivation for addressing masculinities from a feminist perspective, and to develop a collective understanding of the negative aspects of patriarchy.
This event is free and open to any person of any gender, regardless of affiliation with U.C. Davis. It will take place at the CA House at 433 Russell Blvd in Davis on Saturday November 11
at 2 PM – 4 PM. There may be snacks.
