NOTES FOR A PERSPECTIVE OF THE INTER SENSITIBILITIES FOR THE RESEARCH-CREATION

Performance is, historically, a critical possibility of deconstructing both the logic of the visual regime and the order of the biopolitical body, these two determinants of how we have exercised the inter-sensitivities between humans and in relation to nonhuman beings. To make and reflect the performance we assume the artistic practices as investigation, practices of the performative ethnography and of the visual arts; This is to study creative practice as a social body practice and environmental body, as a gender practice, localized, lived.

FÉMINA AND DANCE AS A NATION EXPERIENCE

This research examines the coming together of rumba practices at a social club in Bogota and the portrayals of the Ballet the Colombia. It addresses the question of how this aesthetical activity allows its participants to share an embodied and emotional feeling of being part of a Colombian community. It describes and contrasts, ethnographically and historically, the modus operandi which intertwined in these practices, that embody in the fémina, the staging of a desirable, hyper-feminine woman of power, following the inspiration of carnival queen, put in scene by gay identities.
