A new live-streamed discussion series from Creative Capital, Creative Conversations will highlight artists addressing common themes and social issues in their work. The pilot edition will focus on mass incarceration and the criminal justice system.

Moderated by Michelle Coffey (Executive Director, Lambent Foundation), the evening will feature Creative Capital artists Maria Gaspar, Shawn Peters, Paul Rucker,
Gregory Sale and Nick Szuberla in an interactive conversation about the roles art and artists play in confronting one of the most pressing social issues of our time.

To read more about each artist, and our event, check out our blog post.

This discussion will be livestreamed from WNYC’s The Greene Space to our Facebook and YouTube pages. RSVP here to receive a reminder.

We’ll take questions from Twitter, so use #CreativeConvos and our handle @creativecap to join the conversation in real time!

Creative Conversations is funded in part by the Lambent Foundation and Catto Shaw Foundation. Please email jonathan with any questions or concerns.
