Dear Colleagues,

The School of Performing Arts at the University of Malta is inviting applications for a resident academic in Dance Studies. The post is part-time (TR5), and we are looking for someone with expertise in teaching contemporary technique, as well as two of the following areas: dance pedagogy, dance and technology, dance in the community, or movement analysis.

Malta is a small archipelago in the Mediterranean with a vibrant and growing dance culture. The Dance Studies programme sits alongside Theatre and Music in the School of Performing Arts and was established five years ago by Professor Joanne Butterworth. Our department offers the Bachelor in Dance Studies (Honours), an online MA Performance Studies Preparatory Course, the Master in Performance Studies (Dance) taught in intensive two-week blocks, Master by Research degrees, and PhD supervision.
